Biblically, parents are to be the main “disciplers” of their children (Deut. 6:4-9). Our desire is not to attempt to take your place in that role, but rather to come alongside you and help you to do it to the glory of God. Most Christian parents want to do this, but many are not sure where to begin. We provide resources and support to help you be the “youth minister” in your teen’s life, while also providing opportunities for students to experience community, fellowship and service. We also provide connection to the body of Christ for students who do not have Christian support at home.
Through studies of systematic theology, various worldview topics, and Bible book series, we seek to enable students to build a Biblical foundation for living that will serve them well for life. Through F.O.L.L.O.W., we provide them with resources to build spiritual disciplines into their lives.
We also strongly encourage our young adults to be involved in the larger church fellowship; the Student Ministry is only a part of the ministry and mission of High Pointe Baptist Church, and not an end or an entity to itself.
